the glory and the challenges
I was doing minor revisions to the book, checking for periods and spaces, etc, when I noticed that one section of the book had been introduced, but not written.
So I wrote that.
Then I decided before I print out the 296 pages, I should make sure that I did the first chapter correctly. So instead of printing, I wrote a note to the editor.
I hope I hear back soon so I can get this thing off my plate and onto someone else’s!

The book is written. I’ve put it all together and it is almost ready to ship out.
When I put it all together I was 2500+ words over the limit. I managed to cull 700 words. Since I am still 1,812 words over, I am going through and tightening up things, eliminating some repetition, and generally trying to drop stuff.
But it will be done soon. I’ve got printer ink so I can print the copy I have to mail. I think I have enough paper.
My book is almost finished!
