I teach at two colleges. One we get out at noon on Wednesday. The other we don’t get out till school is over on Wednesday. That is at a residential college that is recruiting from all over the US.
I know the point is that if we get out Wednesday, students will want out Tuesday, but if we get out only Thursday, I can’t do my holidays with the in-laws because it is too far to go. Yuck. Guess we’ll be there for Christmas after all.
