Supernatural Fiction

friesens-book-supernatural-ficToday I received a new book, Supernatural Fiction in Early Modern Drama and Culture by Ryan Curtis Friesen, to review for Southwest Journal of Cultures.

I have read only the table of contents and the first page of the introduction. However, having read simply those I can say unequivocally that two hundred pages can easily be made to convey as much as five hundred, if the author wills it. The density of ideas within the introductory page, alone, would have taken five pages, had I been writing it.

I am looking forward to perusing it carefully over the next several days.

Critical Thinking

by Dr Davis on March 19, 2010

My most recent teaching demo for an in-person interview is supposed to be over critical thinking. Why do we always panic?

I was freaking out… What does that mean? Will they think it means what I think it means? (The answer to that is yes.)

And so I wen searching for an answer on the net. Great resource! Critical Thinking Skills in Education & Life.
